Dr. L Bui
Dr. Lam Bui — known to most patients as Dr. L — has dreamed of becoming a dentist since preschool. That childhood vision, first sparked by a classroom career day, stayed with her through high school summer jobs in local dental offices and all the way to her current role as the founder and owner of Blossom Orthodontics. A proud Northern Virginia native who graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology, Dr. L brings both deep-rooted local connection and nationally recognized training to her Aldie practice.
She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia as an Echols Scholar before attending the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where she graduated at the top of her class. She continued at Penn to complete her orthodontic residency, serving as Chief Resident and receiving the Robert Vanarsdall Award — an honor given to the top resident in each class.
As a board-certified orthodontist, Dr. L is passionate about pairing technical precision with personalized care. Her approach is focused on transparency, efficient treatment mechanics, and building lasting relationships with patients of all ages. From young kids getting their first check to adults seeking clear aligners, Dr. L is committed to making everyone feel supported and empowered throughout their orthodontic journey.

Outside the office, Dr. L enjoys hiking, biking, traveling, and trying out new restaurants (she proudly considers herself a foodie). She’s a big UVA basketball fan and shares her sports loyalty between the Sixers and both the Commanders and Eagles.
