Blossom OrthodonticsSMS/Text Messaging Terms of Service
Effective Date: August 25, 2026
At Blossom Orthodontics, we value convenient and timely communication with our patients and families. These SMS/Text Messaging Terms of Service (“Messaging Terms”) explain how our text messaging program works and the terms that apply when you choose to receive text messages from us.
1. SMS Messaging Program
By opting in to receive SMS/text messages from Blossom Orthodontics (“Blossom Orthodontics,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you consent to receive text messages from us at the mobile number you provide.
Depending on your relationship with our practice and your communication preferences, messages may include:
- Appointment reminders and confirmations
- Appointment scheduling and related communications
- Schedule changes, office closures, and practice updates
- Responses to inquiries and general two-way communication
- Treatment-related administrative communications
- Billing or account-related administrative communications
- Preventive orthodontic or oral health reminders
- Educational information about orthodontic care
- Promotional and marketing messages regarding Blossom Orthodontics, including services, consultations, events, special offers, and other practice promotions
2. Message Frequency and Charges
Message frequency varies depending on your appointments, communication preferences, and the types of messages for which you have opted in.
Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier and mobile service plan.
Blossom Orthodontics is not responsible for any charges imposed by your mobile carrier or other service provider.
3. Two-Way Communication
Our messaging program supports two-way communication. Text messaging is intended for routine communication. You may receive responses to messages you send to Blossom Orthodontics, as well as messages initiated by our practice.
4. Opting Out and Getting Help
To stop receiving SMS/text messages, reply STOP to any message.
For help or assistance with the messaging program, reply HELP to any message.
After you send STOP, you may receive one additional message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. After that, you will no longer receive messages from the applicable messaging program unless you opt in again or otherwise request to receive messages.
You may also contact our office directly to update your communication preferences.
5. Privacy and Security
Your information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Privacy Policy: https://www.blossomorthodonticsva.com/privacy-policy
Please be aware that standard SMS/text messaging is not necessarily encrypted and may involve privacy and security risks. By choosing to communicate with Blossom Orthodontics by text message, you acknowledge and accept these risks.
6. Mobile Number and Consent
By opting in to receive text messages, you represent that you are the owner or authorized user of the mobile phone number provided to Blossom Orthodontics and that you have authority to consent to messages being sent to that number.
If your mobile phone number changes, please notify Blossom Orthodontics so that we can update your communication preferences.
Your consent to receive SMS/text messages is not a condition of receiving orthodontic treatment or other services from Blossom Orthodontics.
7. Message Delivery and Carrier Liability
Blossom Orthodontics and its messaging service providers are not responsible for messages that are delayed, not delivered, delivered to an incorrect recipient, or otherwise affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We are not responsible for charges, errors, delays, or failures in SMS delivery caused by your mobile carrier, telecommunications provider, or other third-party service provider.
Carriers are not liable for any delayed or undelivered messages.
8. No Emergency Communication
SMS/text messaging is intended for routine communication and is not continuously monitored.
Do not use text messaging to report a medical or dental emergency or other urgent concern. If you are experiencing an emergency, call 911 or seek appropriate emergency medical care.
9. Changes to These Terms
Blossom Orthodontics may modify or update these Messaging Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date.
Your continued participation in the SMS/text messaging program after updated terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
